Ingredients
- 400g Spaghetti
- 1tbsp olive oil
- 120g smoked streaky bacon, cut into small strips
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
- Grated cheese to serve (optional)
Method
- Cook the spaghetti according to the pack instructions
- As it’s cooking, heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the bacon until it starts to crisp
- Stir in the onion and cook for a further 3-4 minutes
- Add the garlic and paprika, and cook for another minute or so
- Pour in the chopped tomatoes, bring to the boil and bubble for ten minutes, or until the sauce is thick enough for your liking. Give it a stir every so often to stop it from sticking.
- Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce
- Add the grated cheese, and enjoy!
